The Old Montreal Walking Tours

The Old Montreal Walking Tours are perfect opportunities for tourists who have never been to the city or Montrealeans who would like a brush up on their local history. This 90-minute stroll is led by a professional guide who's full of information: she will tell you about Montreal's architectural and cultural history, in addition to coloring the experience with a proper quip or two. The walking tours take place in May and June of this year. Nearly 4,000 people live in this little borough, and on any given day, approximately 35,000 commute there to get to work.

Old Montreal is a nostalgic and wholly safe neighborhood. Located just along the St. Lawrence River, the area is a few minutes' walk from major commercial centers and entertainment venues, such as the Palais de congres, or convention center. If walking is not your forte, do not fret: one can also take a horse-drawn carriage for an abridged version of the same tour.

The Westin Montreal, an exquisite and world class hotel located right in the heart of Old Montreal, offers some of the best accommodations in the area.
